Dr Anthony Duckworth is a practitioner, educator and researcher with experience in urban design, architecture and transport engineering. Through his role at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) at the University of Western Australia (UWA) he has developed and applied research to tackle the challenges of growing cities and methods of multi-stakeholder collaboration. He has developed a suite of interactive, tactile 3D physical models to engage stakeholders in collective decision making process for urban plans and policy from building scale to urban regions. Application of these interactive tools through his practice at Fairplace aims to build the capacity of diverse actors in the urban system to work together in the formation of spatial plans and policies which target sustainable development goals .
